What this site is

BizzQuébec publishes a directory of Quebec businesses and articles written for the people who run a small or mid-sized company. The site is operated by H1Site.com.

Business listings

A listing comes from one of two places: it is submitted by the business, or it is assembled from public information. In both cases we check it before publishing, but we do not guarantee that it is accurate or current.

By submitting a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act for the business, and that the information and images you provide are accurate and either yours or lawfully publishable by you.

We may refuse, edit or remove a listing — in particular if it is inaccurate, if it has no connection to Quebec, or if it breaches these terms. If you own a business and want its listing corrected or removed, write to us.

Guest articles and press releases

We accept articles signed by outside contributors. A guest article is reviewed and approved by us before publication, but the opinions and claims in it remain its author’s.

By submitting an article or a press release, you grant us the right to publish, translate and edit it for clarity, length or accuracy. You keep ownership of your text. You represent that it is yours and infringes no copyright.

We do not publish everything submitted to us, and we commit to no deadline.

What you may not do

• Extract the site’s content in bulk, by robot or otherwise, to republish it or build a competing database.
• Submit false information, false listings or false reviews.
• Attempt to reach any part of the site not intended for you.
• Post defamatory, hateful, misleading or unlawful content.

Affiliate links and advertising

Some pages display products sold by Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases — at no additional cost to you. Prices shown are cached and may have changed; the governing price is the one on Amazon.

The site may also display third-party advertising. An ad or an affiliate link is not an endorsement of the advertiser by us, and we are not a party to any transaction you enter into with them.

Content and intellectual property

The text, layout and graphic elements of the site are ours unless stated otherwise. You may quote an excerpt with attribution and a link to the original page. You may not reproduce a whole article without our written consent.

The names, logos and trademarks of listed businesses remain the property of their owners.

No warranty, no professional advice

The site is provided as is. Our articles are general information: they are not legal, accounting, tax or investment advice. Consult a professional before making a business decision.

We do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we are not answerable for the content of third-party sites we link to.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the site or the inability to use it, nor for losses resulting from a decision made in reliance on information found here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable in Quebec. Any dispute falls to the courts of the judicial district where the site’s operator is established.

We may change these terms. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
